how long do transfer decisions take?
« on: June 17, 2010, 04:18:28 PM »
Does anyone know how long it normally takes to find out if the transfer application has been accepted or rejected for schools with rolling admissions?

To FSU (accepts 60+) from a T-4 in that state and in close proximity.

It depends on the school.  I have talked with schools that say they will look at them as soon as your file is complete and others that say they will wait until the first or second week in July when most schools have released grades from your first year.

Note for anyone who may look at this thread later for help in determining how long FSU takes in making transfer decisions:
It took 10 days from the date my transfer application status changed to complete. (may vary for others)

How do they let you know if your in?: phone call (but again, it may vary)
