Letters of Rec

Who to ask for letters of recommendation: Should I ask professors who like me and gave me  A- grades or professors who gave me As with whom I have less of a bond? At my school As and A-s are given to about 16/87 students while only the top 3 students in a class get As.

Also, as school is out of session now and professors are less available during office hours, should I just email the professors about transferring or is there a better way to go about it?

LSDAS lets you get 4 of them, so get all your top profs if you can.

Get LOR's from professor that you have developed the best relationship with.  LOR's that can speak to your character are viewed in the highest regard.  Good luck!
