Why D support the claim??? It doesn't indicate any difference btwn old and new map. does it?
The new maps compile data from several thousand modern weather stations, while the old maps only used info fomr a few hundred. It's not a great piece of support, I grant you, but it's better than if weather data were entirely unimportant.
