So from my understanding, Kagan"s (new supreme court nominee) current position is that of U.S. Solicitor General. Well I wasn't quite sure what the duties of her position entailed, so I did some very brief research (like really 5 minutes), but her duties seemed to me to be very similar to those of what I thought the attorney general's to be. So If someone could please clarify to me the difference between the duties of the solicitor general and the attorney general, it would be most helpful
