ABA Law Student Membership
« on: May 06, 2010, 01:49:55 PM »
I just got accepted into Law School (yay!) and got this letter in the mail offering an ABA student membership. Does anyone know anything about this? Is it worth it?

Meh, you get a magazine and some other stuff.  You'll need to join later if you want to do moot court or their writing competitions. I wouldn't really join just yet, though.

If it costs ANYTHING, I wouldn't waste the money.  Time enough once you get further on.  At this point it is just "feel good."
