If you want to be a lawyer in South Carolina then I don't think there is a better school to go to than South Carolina.
The rankings etc are basically complete B.S. look at the formula and the fact that the ABA, LSAC, and AALS adamantly state the rankings are completely bogus.
Any ABA school goes through stringent testing and none of them are out to ruin your life and if you put the work in it will LIKELY work out. Never any guarantees, but location is huge and go South Carolina to get a job in South Carolina, go to Gonzaga to get a job in Washington. Go to FIU or Stetson to get a job in Florida the list goes on and on. Outside of Harvard, Yale, Stanford etc law schools are essentially regional and it sounds like SC is where you want to live and therefore thta is where you should go to school.
