Is Texas Southern University Easy To Get Into And Does It Have A Bad Rep?

Hey guys im planning to apply to Texas Southern University for next year and i was wondering if 1)is it easy to get into and 2)does the University have a bad reputation. Thanks. ;)

1) Yes, it is relatively easy to get into
2) The school has had problems in the past. At one point a few years ago it was in danger of losing accreditation. It may have improved since then, but I haven't kept up with the matter.
