Remembering Test Questions
« on: April 23, 2010, 01:20:21 AM »
Random thoughts...When I try redoing old tests that I haven't done in months, I always remember the question and what the answer is.  But if you were to ask me to recite any past questions off the top of my head I wouldn't have a clue.  Seeing the problem somehow instantly makes me remember both the question and the answer (or what I put before).

Anybody else like that?

So, re-reading text makes you remember it better?

Yeah, everyone else is like that.

read post again.

It's not about re-reading to memorize it like in a history class, it's that after doing a test once, and then going back to it a couple months later, I still remember the question exactly, even if I can't recite it off the top of my head.

I think you are the one that needs to re-read again.

yeah, the same thing happened to me! Even questions I did in some prep "homework" would show up on my practice tests...

The best thing to do is just get as many new tests as you can...

Ever watch The Sixth Sense?  Ever watch it AGAIN?  Remember all the really obvious stuff you completely missed the first time?  That's why you should redo LSAT questions.
