Isn't makeing your own outline half the fun of lawschool? Why use outdated notes(even if only one year old) Teachers change the tests per year(albeit nominally sometimes) if you miss somthing ask your study buddies and do the same vice versa for them.

Huh? This is for the bar exam. You could make your own outlines, but it's not necessary. There's a reason why almost everyone shells out the dough for Barbri and all of their materials: They're thorough and accurate. As far as the age of the material, are you saying everything you learned your 1L year needs to be updated? The law barely changes year to year, especially the concepts tested on the bar.
