My school, ranked around 30-35 in the country, recently published that the average starting salary for 2009 graduates is $91,800!  I think this has to be a misrepresentation, because I personally know many people in that class who are making far less.  Do you think, as I do, that this is part of my school's dissemination of misinformation to lure unsuspecting students to enter law school?

that's probably the average of the 5 people who actually reported. The school can just drop the other 150 people or so. It's true misrepresentation.
