help plz! northwestern or boalt hall?
« on: April 11, 2010, 11:02:58 AM »
hello all!

i need some help here!

I am down to boalt hall (uc berkeley) and northwestern now.
i am not a california resident so the tuition of two schools are not much different, and i'm thinking of pursuing corporate law and I want to work on the east coast eventually.

with the budget cut in california, i am afraid ucb is not going to worth the money i am going to pay. i went to purblic school for my undergraduate, so i know what it is like to go to public school. Not much care and 'save the money' posters everywhere. but would that be the same in grad school?

Ranking wise, berkeley is a little bit higher, and california is more diverse and the weather is nice...

both schools have great b schools (hass and kellogg) and this makes my decision even harder.

where do you think i should go?
i would appreciate any perspective/info/advice you can offer!!:)

Northwestern is in a nice location, and offers a 3 year JD/MBA, if you're looking to take the JD/MBA path. Does Berkeley offer a 3-year JD/MBA, or does it take 4?
