What is so great about Chapman?  Is it that better than Southwestern?

Read the posts above re: Chapman.  And yes, there are great things happening at Chapman.  I would recommending checking out the school or continuing to wait for the US News rankings for the upcoming years.  This year Chapman jumped into the second tier at #93.  That is a huge jump for a school that has been around for only 15 years.  Maybe the fastest leap by any school.   There is a great legal market for jobs as well.  Its proximity to LA OC and SD offer a plethora of jobs.

They have Vernon Smith and most of his team of experimental economists on staff (Nobel prize 2002 IIRC) which could provide some really unique and interesting oportunities for anyone interested in law mixed with experimental economics or economic system design.

As for job markets - I think it would be flatly wrong to say the legal market is great anywhere in the US.
