With the assumption that the US job market will turn positive (some day), what degree has better career earnings, the MBA or the JD ?In addition - Which degree is more broad-based and useful for multiple career fields across different industries and even globally ?
An MBA is like a GED anyone and their uncle can get one, and there is zero license requirment for it, thus if your boss wanted to replace you with his dropout niece just becuase he felt like it then he could and would. If you have a JD you have to pass the bar and that gives you job security. If you want an MBA then get a joint degree. Most schools have that option.

Yeah, never heard of a guy with a MBA being laid off huh? Truth be told, your better off to be laid off with a JD than an MBA.
