Toledo, Cleveland, Michigan State or Ohio Northern
« on: February 26, 2010, 08:06:26 PM »
Still hoping for a Tier 1 to accept me, but already got offers from from Toledo, Cleveland, Ohio Northern, waitlisted by Michigan State and deferred by Wayne and Akron. The Tier 1s pending told me they'll have an answer in May, but the accepted schools want a seat deposit earlier. Any I should seriously consider - or stay away from? Please help!

Don't get to caught up in the rankings, if you were waitlisted at MSU, you are probably are not getting into Harvard.  There is nothing wrong with that and it is an accomplishment getting into any ABA school. Bottom line is any ABA school, will provide you with what you need to succeed as a lawyer (passing the bar). However, in general lower ranked schools don't have to much recognition outside of there immediate area. If your considering between T2,T3, or T-4 schools don't get to caught up in the rankings and go to school in an area you want to live.
