UVA Waitlist 2010

Wanted to start a new thread for UVA Waitlist in current year.

It appears that previously UVA had priority waitlist and general waitlist for both in-state and out-of-state students. I was recently placed on a waitlist (without specifying which kind it is). I am in-state for Virginia. 162/3.94, non-traditional student, great work experience.  The word is apparently that in-state UVA list is pretty unpromising.
Anybody had any comments or experiences?

I haven't heard anything about UVA's policy with in-state vs. out-of-state. I, too, was put on an unspecified waitlist. 162/3.87 graduating this year from undergrad, and I'm out-of-state. I've been considering whether to tell them they're my top (because something on their website said that could help with the waitlist), but I'm waiting on a few more schools to get back to me.

I'm waitlisted too. Seems ppl won't get off from waitlist before April according to my understandings of their words on website.  Am I wrong?

yeah they say they have to figure out how many people deposit - if it is the same as last year chances are pretty slim...  Going for a campus visit next week.
