Does anybody have information on using copyrighted material commercially? I have e-mailed LSAC, Kaplan, PowerScore, etc... no one really cares to respond.

depend on what mean by commercial.  for example, there commercial that violate copyright, some not.

Why would you contact LSAT prep suppliers to ask a copywrite question? Are they the ones that you plan to use the material from? If so, yes you need their permission.

Sorry I didn't specify... Using prep tests to teach students.

I'd think that would probally be ok, but I'm still just starting my studies in intellectual property. If you can't get word from them on it, I'd talk to a local attorney. Mabey even try to contact the Patent Agency who is charge of the copywrite to see their offical stand on it.


Are you a licensed teacher? What type of group are you trying to teach?

[sigh.]  copyright violation to copy anything copyrighted without permission, except single copy for personal use.  if want use copyrighted materials in class, just pay for them.
