If you had an extra $1,000 what would you spend it on?  What would you buy if you wanted to spend the whole 1,000 on one thing, and then also what things would you buy if you broke it up into smaller amounts?

I'd fly out to San Diego for spring break and ride around in Baja for a week (dirt bike).  Did that this past summer and had a blast (well, I didn't fly out - rode a street bike out, but that'd take too long for spring break).
