Transferring into T100
« on: January 13, 2010, 01:48:20 PM »
I am at a t3 school right now and am still waiting on one grade from first semester.  I am interested in transferring to the a school in the southwest but have noticed that most schools say that they require top 10% of class in order to be looked at.  I am interested in Arizona State, Texas Tech, UNLV, just to name a few.  Does anyone have any experience or insight as to whether these numbers are true?

I'd say just stay where your at unless the other one is within driving distance of your current home. Why go through the drama of moving in lawschool if you can avoid it?

Do you want to practice in the Southwest specifically? If you could transfer to a strong T1 it might be worth it. I doubt it is worth transferring to a T2 unless you just need a change of locations.
