LOR's, walk me through the process

LOR's, walk me through the process

Can someone give me a quick overview on how the LOR process works. If I understand correctly my LOR writers should write a letter, and mail in a hard copy along with my LOR Form L1? Is this correct?

Also How does LSAC compute over-all GPA if I haven't graduated yet?

Once the LOR writer has sent in the letter, LSDAS processes it, and then you are able to assign the letters to go to certain law schools (in your LSAC profile). And LSAC just computes up to what you have complete for your GPA.

Can I have my recommenders give the letters back to me and I send them in? I have two different letters coming from each person. A general letter, and a specific letter?
