When you say distraught over your LSAT, what type of score were you expecting? What were your tests like? Advice probably differs if you were routinely nailing 175+ on practice tests versus if you were hitting 162...

Good question.  I was taking timed PTs and scoring mid and high 160s consistently for weeks.  Never hit a 160 for months. 

If you can hit high 160s, I would keep practicing and retake. Actually, if you could manage to improve this a little into low 170s, then you might have results similar to http://lawschoolnumbers.com/JennyR.

You'd definitely be a lot better off re-writing if you can expect a 168 or better, in my opinion.
