Looking for an exit strategy from a long and successful career in software sales, but have much energy and interest in continuing to learn and work and scratch the brain. Have a B.A. and have done some post-graduate work toward a MBA. During a four year break from the sales career (worked FT as a consultant) earned a certificate (undergraduate) in ADR and worked as a volunteer mediator. LOVED IT, but decided to return to sales while I could still be hired five years ago. I live in Dallas and it's difficult to earn a living wage as a non-attorney mediator here. Though no J.D., have other traits that would predict success. Shall I eliminate this barrier by going to law school? My plan would be to attend school in the western U.S., where we would like to live, and people are more open minded about ADR. Advice for me? Many thanks.
