Lebanese-American Students
« on: August 18, 2005, 04:44:59 PM »
I'm half Lebanese American, but I'm not first generation, and I don't speak Arabic or anything crazy like that.  However, my culture did play a substantial role in forming my current views, and I have a pretty decent diversity essay that I will be sending to a couple schools that I apply to (Harvard and UMich).  My question is as follows: is there anyone out there in the same position as me?  If so, are you self identifying and do you think it will help?  I'm shooting for T14 but with my numbers I'm not looking so hot for some of them.  Also, if anyone has played this card in the past and it has worked/hasn't worked, I'd love to hear about that too.
