I read somewhere any explanation about shortcoming in you GPA is helpful.

My GPA is 3.75 but I have one C+ at my last semester and I have good explanation for that.

Should I write addendum?

I'm worried that it might make my resume look bad.

I think it kind of depends on the school. I'm writing an addendum to explain my first 2 years of undergrad and why my grades were so bad compared to good grades in my last two years..Just ask the admmissions, most I have talked to will answer that for you

I wouldn't.  Addenda are viewed very skeptically.  Plus, your GPA is a 3.75 so no law school is going to readjust it to be a 3.79. Considering that it's so minor and likely irrelevant, it's simply going to distract from other parts of your application.  If readers only devote so much time to each application, it'd be more valuable to write a diversity statement or allow the reader to concentrate on the things that make you look good.  It's not wise to add extraneous documents.

Yes, a gross deviation with your academic record merits an addendum, particularly when applying to the top law schools.  I would candidly explain why you earned a C+ in this course, and if appropriate, discuss any mitigating factors that provide context or justify the lower grade.
