Where can I get in with a 3.5 / 157?

Where do you guys think I can get in with these scores?  I'd love to go to GA State or UGA, but looking at their stats, I'm getting kind of nervous.  Any comments or suggestions of other schools to apply to would be greatly appreciated.

I have very similar numbers (3.2 159) and from what I gather, the only GA school that either of us would have a good shot at is Mercer.  GA State is a bit of a reach.  The good thing for us is that living in the southeast with these numbers gives us access to good schools that allow nearly unrivaled access to decent markets (Jackson, Little Rock, Columbia, Charleston, etc.).  This is my ranking of schools that I (and you) have a legit shot at that have large alumni networks, solid regional reputation, and good placement in decent markets.

Target:
1. Tennessee
2. LSU
3. South Carolina
4. Ole Miss
5. Arkansas

Safety-ish:
6. Loyola New Orleans
7. Samford
8. Mercer (Nancy Grace on the board and no Atlanta put this pretty low on my list)

Reach (if i significantly improve my lsat over the next year):
Wake
Tulane
SMU (FT or PT)
UGA

3.5/157 has no chance at UF/FSU, unless the original poster is black. If that's the case, Duke might even be a possibility.

I'm a 3L at Mercer and happy to answer questions about the school if you have any.  The median GPA/LSAT this year was 3.46 / 156.  With both your numbers above the medians, you probably have a decent shot at a good scholarship.

I've seen people with lowers numbers at FSU, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's a few at UF.

If he's black with those numbers, he should be looking at Cornell or G-Town.
