If so, does anyone have rankings?

Thanks.

Does US News rank the Tax LLM programs? Yes.

Are the rankings available (for free)? Not that I've seen, but if you look here you can tell what the rankings are:
http://taxprof.typepad.com/taxprof_blog/2009/10/graduate-tax.html

1. NYU
2. Tie: GULC and Florida
4. (because there's no 3) Northwestern
5. Tie: Miami and BU
7. San Diego
8. Loyola L.A.
9. Chapman
10. Tie: SMU, Denver, U. Wash (Seattle).

USC just started their tax LLM program this year. Villanova also has a program. If you want to see them for real (this might not be totally accurate) borrow a U.S. News magazine.

From what I understand the only three really worth going to unless you have an employer paying are NYU/GULC/UF (in that order)

FWIW: I am in the GULC JD/LLM joint degree program.

I don't believe there is any universally accepted rankings.

NYU/GULC/UF are the three that have nationwide recognition.

Others have more regional draw.  FWIW I am a graduate of Nova's LLM program, went there b/c I went to Nova LS and could start my LLM studies in 3L spring and finish a semester early.  I think the program has a lot of potential, some well respected faculty there and it has helped me significantly in practice.
