I'm tutoring my bro, and his RC is all over the place too.  Was the bane of my existence too!

I was never one who marked up the passage. I figured that if I couldn't remember a 55 line passage, I wasn't cut out for this anyways. I would circle transition words and mark lines that had questions about them. Other than that, I just made sure to read quickly without getting distracted. Sounds kind of simple, but I'd bet that a lot of people can't do it so well.

If i'm not marking up a passage and forcing myself to actively read I zone out. After indicating who is arguing which point and "highlighting" key arguments in RC, my score increased by about 7 or 8 questions in the RC. Maybe getting 4 wrong total now.

In other news, I do not like games. At least, not complex grouping-dual-linear-hiding-as-a-circular-mapping game (ok, I made that up.) I am sure the LSAT god will give me games as an experimental, too. And yes, I am currently procrastinating studying said games with this message board.

Yeah, the hard thing about RC is that there is no set way to be successful. It just depends on your learning style. But as long as I was concentrating on the RC, I didn't need to mark up much. It helped a lot on time for me.

I'm way invested in this test because my twin bro and one of my best friends is taking it!

How are everyone's practice tests going?

very surprised at the -5 in the lr.

@#!* RC seriously. it is destroying my score.

to make it worse, i took this test about 5 months ago

Starting June 00, I took the PTs in the morning by getting up between 6-7am and starting the PTs around 8:40-9am.

It's been miserable. I have about 10 PTs left all 5 sections dating up to june 09.

reviewing questions, I've been focusing only on LR.

I'm dead scared right now about the possibility of me not breaking 170. Although I forgot most of the questions, go through every process when solving them, and finish each section around 33mins, the scores/raw are pathetic considering these are 2nd time around.

Help.
