I think as far as anyone understands, people go to TLS because that's where everyone is.  People are scared away here because the homepage is often messed up, and Andrew doesn't care enough to fix it.  I don't think there's anything that can be done to fix the homepage without Andrew's approval, and there's also the whole lack of a search engine thing, and therefore I don't know if there's anything that can really be done

Looks like what LSD needs to move forward is a facilitator. The kind of person that facilitates instead of hesitates.

What is a site like this worth?

We would need to know the montly/annual expenses, and the monthly/annual revenues. Then just do a simple market analysis of the law school messageboard industry, and then add any discounts or premiums based on this research. Some numbers would have to be discounted to their present values. What are we looking at ..under or over 10k?

I'm assuming it may be below if the owner has little interest in improving the site to make it competitive. This is just from what I've read in this thread, I really have no idea. Silence does speak volumes. This may be a clue into the value of the site. Or at least the value of the site to this individual.
