Admission to SCOTUS??
« on: August 17, 2009, 10:10:10 PM »

If an attorney has been admitted to SCOTUS (per his online bio), does that mean he has actually argued or been associated with a case in the high court or can any lawyer just apply for admission to look cool?

It's a sponsorship club, gotta know people.  Like any other court ever, you don't have to be involved in a case.  It might have been prestigious once but now certain TTT schools have their Deans sponsor whoever wants membership.
