I am currently waitlisted at 5 schools (Duke, Michigan, Chicago, Stanford, Harvard). I was initally waitlisted at UPenn and Columbia as well but was rejected a few weeks ago. Is there any hope of getting in off of one of these waitlists at this point in the summer? I am a URM candidate with competitive scores but applied in mid-December (went complete in January) which did not help my candidacy. I have sent two letters of continued interest, had another letter of recommendation sent on my behalf, and improved my gpa from a 3.55 to a 3.62 at a top 10 school(from the fall when I applied to the end of school). I thought about retaking the LSAT but decided against it for fear that my score might not improve or actually go down (I got a 167 the first time). Is there something else I should be doing (visiting schools etc.)? Any input would be great!
