Bar Prep Courses Student Rep Jobs??
« on: July 06, 2009, 02:12:57 PM »
I am a 0L and have been trolling craigslist in my area for a part time job to earn a little money during school. I have come across a couple postings from different companies like Kaplan looking for law school students to sit at a desk one hour a week to give out info about bar prep courses and materials. They are totally commission based jobs basically, though they also promise free bar exam materials.

Has anyone done this? Known someone who has? Any feedback?

Thanks!

My freind did it for PMBR, she got the PMBER course plus all the books free, like $1500 worth of stuff. Plus its not like a sales job people come to you and want your product. Also you could be a Westlaw or Lexis rep. Aslo a freind worked in the law libaray, said that was a pretty cool job just read your homework till someone needs to check out a book or the copier jams or something.
