I hate people who participate in class not because they can't understand something, but because they DO understand it and want to bring up some random intelligent side point to the subject to show everybody.  There was this one kid who did that like every 5 minutes in Crim Law last semester and monopolized every class.  I was happy to find out that his grades are very median.  He was such a prick.

What school do you go to? That might have been me  ;)

This happens everywhere I think in crim law and con law, everyone thinks there an expert becuase they watch law and order reruns. Did you make it through crim without someone mentioning something they saw on law and order (evidence is even worse) But nobody ever admits to something they saw on judge judy
*In clinical studies, Matthies was well tolerated, but women who are pregnant, nursing or might become pregnant should not take or handle Matthies due to a rare, but serious side effect called him having to make child support payments.

Once the gunners raise their hands I tend to check out the sports scores on my laptop.  Listening to them is usually insufferable and sometimes just confuses me more.

This is right.

The best you can do when someone is spinning a hypo out of control or asking about some other irrelevant bull is to stop paying attention. If the professor doesn't care about it, neither should you.

In my experience you see the following:

1 (this is the prototypical gunner), 4 (on occasion), 5, and 6.

2L and counting...

1. 'I-am-too-smart-for-this class/school' kids in class who always interrupts the class by 'participating too much'(often talking nonsense)

Yes. Every class has at least one.

2. Drunk people(usually asleep) in class (I once belonged to this category, meh  :P)

Shame on you!  Not at my law school.  Tired/sleepy/hangovers, yes, but drunk, no.

3. Macho dudes demonstrating their manliness by engaging in public fist-fighting.

No.  Law students are all over 18.

4. People wearing pajamas/underwears to class

Pajamas, yes, during finals.  Underwears?  Like victoria secrets?  That would have been nice.

5.People who literally lives inside of the library and the frustrated librarian lady

Yes to living inside the library.  What do you mean frustrated librarian lady?

6. The ones that never show up in class but still manages to get by

Yes, only when the professor does not have attendance policy.

7. Your neighbor who always seems to be high

Mine did not seem to be high, he was high.  And, I am sure some of my classmates have similiar experience.

8. Porn-watchers in the library

Probably not. As law students, they have certain reputation to keep.

just curious  ::)

Are you bi-curious?

This may just be my personal experience, but I've come across many people like these when I was in college. So I was just wondering if its likely for me to still see these things in law school...

1.  Good God, yes, and they tend to be oblivious that we're all laughing at them.  Actually, one of our gunners was called out by a prof last semester on the last day.

2.  I'm sure drunk people showed up on St. patrick's day, but I haven't seen anyone obviously drunk.  Although I have fallen asleep a few times in some classes.

3.  I've only heard rumors of this.

4.  Pajama pants, maybe.

5.  I work at our law library, so we have the regulars, but I wouldn't say they live inside of the library.

6.  Replace never show up with never pay attention and that constitutes most of my friends.

7.  I think there's a rapist living in my apartment building.

8.  Hey, if you know the right places to hide, I'm sure you could get away with it.  Not that I have...

You have the volume on?  That just ruins the magic of it.
