low lsat...high GPA Question
« on: June 26, 2009, 12:18:36 PM »
well, got my score... 152. But my gpa is a 3.9 (if Lsac really does count an A+ as a 4.33 then my gpa will be allot higher too)

Here’s the deal. I really only want to stay in south Florida... Miami, Stetson, FIU. So I suppose I'm not looking at crazy schools.

I also have a history of poor standardized testing. In H.S. I had a 990 SAT (I know that sucks), but had a 4.4 GPA....

So I guess my real question is "do you think an addendum would work here?"....or..."will my GPA outweigh my LSAT"?

I REALLY don't want to retake. I really don't think that I would score much higher than that (best I did really was a 156...average was around 153ish after about 3 months of study). So are two low scores worse than one?

I would suggest you retake the exam and aim for 160+. It seems that schools are not very friendly to low lsat/high gpa candidates

With your current gpa/lsat, this predictor (which uses past data) predicts that you won't be anywhere near the T30.

Hope that helps and good luck!
