3L OCI; any advice?
« on: June 24, 2009, 09:25:32 PM »
Getting ready for 3L OCI. I'm certainly not relying on it, but is there anything I should expect? Are there questions I'm bound to be asked?  Any advice in general?

Thanks.

be open about your location preferences and apply to every possible place that will consider 3Ls. Last year NALP's stats show 129 3Ls received offers from NALP firms nationwide out of 707 callback interviews (nationwide.) Look on NALP's website for 2008 oci stats. Hopefully, this year will be better.

I would expect very little out of 3L OCI. Seek other avenues.

Yes, as I noted in my post above I'm not relying on it. And you're just going into your 3rd year, so not really the person I'm looking for advice from. I'm wondering what to expect from people who've been through it. Thanks anyway.
