How high can I possibly go.
« on: June 04, 2009, 01:59:55 PM »
I had initial notions on where I wanted to go after this semester, but that may have all changed since this semesters grades. First semester- 3.4 Top 8 percent. Second Semester 4.0. Cumulative 3.7. I know top 4% after the first semester was 3.54. I am at a T4 and am trying to realistically think how far I can reach. I was deferred at WUSTL.

Any thoughts advice. I have looked on transferapps database and have an idea but I want any additional knowledge that you all may have.

I think T4 transfer applicants are generally a wild card.  Some schools absolutely won't take T4 students even if they are ranked #1 and some don't seem to mind it.  Some have specific dislike of certain T4 schools (such as Cooley).  Anyhow, I think WUSTL is probably the highest you are going to get but if I were you I'd try to pepper applications everywhere, including a few in the T14.

I'd say you have a very good shot at a T14. Probably Michigan, GULC, Northwestern. I'd apply everywhere except HYS
