The Senate Floor: Debate the Ban Process Here

(1/61) > >>

Burning Sands, Esq.:
In this thread feel free to debate the process by which you feel posters should be banned.

In the past, ban worthy behaviors have included (but are not limited to):

* Posting other people's personal information on the public forum without their permission
* Personal harassment of other posters
* Racial, religious, sexual harassment of other posters
* Trolling
* Spamming

Julie Fern:
name-calling never should be considered.  we have way too many putzes here for that.

as to trolling, let's not squeeze all fun out of site, eh?

but spammers should be put into custody of oh-so-male private part cheney for whole week, or at least forced listen to collected speeches of newt gingrich.

Zero Content: replying to or creating a thread with nothing of substance; not offering significant advice or contributing to the conversation in any fashion.

Flame Wars (outside of Haterade)

Pornographic photos, or pornographic links without a warning of what it is.

--- End quote ---

Define "significant advice"

Define "significant advice"

A specific answer to a question posed, or information on how to find the information needed through another source. Something other than misdirection, obfuscation, mockery, etc.

So, by your view, should one instance of dodging the question be enough or would this have to be a repeat offender in order to get banned?

So, by your view, all spammers get the strict liability axe?
