My coffee this evening tastes like fine boxed wine.

You could leave a cardboard cutout of Erik Estrada at the front counter and I guarantee you no one would ever know the difference.
Not so much because you resemble Erik Estrada, more so because you have the personality of cardboard.

I'm drinking 1792 bourbon.  I normally don't get this brand, but it's very good

When I drink coffee (rarely) I get the cheap coffee at UDF or White Castle.
Tim Horton's is OK, but definitely overrated.
Never had Starbucks.
Dunkin Donuts is good, but I've only had it once.

The poster or coffee?

Both.

The new place didn't have room for my super duper coffee machine, so I'm drinking regular *&^% that's being scooped out of a 25lb drum of stale coffee.

Hotel coffee.  'Nuff said.  :P

Is it really that much more expensive for a hotel to stock Folger's in their rooms than to make packets out of the contents of the vacuum bag?  Jeez, raise your prices a buck or two.  Totally worth it not to feel like such a piece of *&^% in the morning.  Although there is something to be said for the comforting reliability of nasty hotel coffee.  With so much craziness and turmoil in the world, it's nice to have something you can feel certain about when you go to bed in a strange place.
