waitlist - retake lsat?

hey does anyone know if it could help get off a waitlist by retaking the lsat in June?  A lot of schools say they don't take them, but I've heard of it helping people in the past...

you should speak to the admissions people of the school you are waitlisted at. some schools do say that getting a better score in june can help
