When do you get your money from loans.

I plan on taking out a Grad Plus loan to pay for my apartment and other living expenses for school. I have never taken out any financial aid before and was wondering when you get the check for it? I just did the questionare thing for my stafford loans. Whats the next step?

It depends on your lender. At my school, if you go through Sallie Mae or a lender who gives the money to the school for them to give to you, then you get the money on the first day of classes. Private loans may be different though in that they may the money directly to you
