Advice.
« on: May 12, 2009, 09:55:16 PM »
Hi everyone. I've been a frequent visitor to this board but have never actually posted. I am taking the June 8th exam and have been working very hard with studying.

I just wanted to see if anyone would be willing to look over my study schedule. Not sure if it's overkill and counterproductive. I have been studying the past 2 months. I have taken a prep course before and I have also taken the October 2008 exam. I was wait listed at my first choice school due to a poor performance. So I waited until I graduated and dedicated my time to a new, more personalized prep course. In addition, I have also read both powerscore bibles and taken notes on them.

I have attached my "final month" schedule below. If anyone would critique it or give any tips as to how to better utilize the time allotted I would greatly appreciate it. I have as much time as I need every day to dedicate to the test.

While useful in certain situations, I'm not sure I see the value in study groups, but this is a personal preference.  Anyhow,  I'd be doing 5 sections rather than just 4  -- or build up to it. Good luck, I'm taking June, also.

You're obviously committed, OP, and you seem to have a good attitude, so I think you'll improve your score, no problem.

BEST OF LUCK TO YOU.

Also, I forgot to mention, you need to add time for reviewing the mistakes, which I find just as important as doing the sections.
