Liberal-NDP in Canada. I chose "other" because this was not an option.

In terms of pegging them along the political spectrum, they're way left of the democrats. The Canadian Conservatives would resemble the Democratic Party.

The mighty elephant.

I've always wondered why the central American political parties chose such unsexy mascot animals.

Not at all. But I've been weaning away from them, their policy proposals are far too "pie in the sky", if you know what I mean.

I tend to vote liberal 90% of the time.

Way too 'pie in the sky' and misguided at that.  Their approach toward immigration policy would effectively turn Canada into an free-for-all welfare state...more so than it already is.  Sorry, but if I was paying exorbitant ON taxes, I wouldn't want to be subsidizing people who export wages from Canada, but import their medical needs and leech the education system.

It's kind of annoying that the Canadians voted and skewed the polls...

Dude.. don't get into it with me. You were in Canada for all of 4 years, it doesn't make you an expert in Canadian politics.

Well, you didn't say it was closed to the Canadians.

Canadians should always assume they are excluded from everything
