I am going to be a 1L in about a week. I am buying supplements right now. Obviously, previous edition used supplements are alot cheaper. Am I ok going with these, or should I get the latest/new ones?

It depends on the class. Torts definitely. Con law changes so much you will want recent.

you'll be ok with the older ones, as long as they're not too old. if you get a used civ pro supplement, aim for one that has the updated 2007 FRCP (federal rules of civil procedure). it'll just make things a little easier.

The law that you learn in Law School has not changed that much.
Last time I checked, Roe vs. Wade still had not been overturned.
Glannons on Torts the 2004 edition is still as legally relevant as the 2009 edition.
Save your self the time and money and go to the school LIbrary and get what you need.
