What's the first books that I should buy?
« on: May 04, 2009, 08:04:42 PM »
Hey guys,
I have just decided to go to Law School, I'm a 2nd year student at UCLA with a 3.3 and I wanna start taking the LSAT prep stuff. What are the first few books I should buy?

Why do people get annoyed when questions are repeated?  Not like this board is a hot spot and these questions are slowing things down.  If you are annoyed, why take the time to respond with the perfunctory, "use search function" or "this question has been asked before."  Just answer the question or ignore it.

Because the answer to the question was two lines below this question....  No search needed.

When preparing for the LSAT I used these books:

- Superprep (by LSAC)
- Powerscore Logical Reasoning Bible
- Powerscore Logic Games Bible
- Powerscore Reading Comprehension Bible
- The Official LSAT preptests (including the "10 Actual" trilogy series)

I would recommend picking up, at least, "Superprep" and the "10 Actual" books. Try to get a few recent (post-2005) tests as well - these can be purchased individually.

If you have trouble with games I would also recommend the Logic Games Bible. But certainly the Powerscore books are not necessary.

Best of luck to you.
