Part of me hopes he picks Kim McLane Wardlaw to bring some West Coast flavor to SCOTUS.

The other part of me hopes he doesn't because I really wanted to attempt to clerk for her in California when the time came   This is, of course, rather stupid and selfish.  But it's the only negative I can think of

I know people stumping for Kim Crenshaw! Which would be totally sweet. Don't think it's going to happen, though 

And not to be boring, but I do happen to think Sotomayor is pretty cool.

Kimberle Crenshaw is the effing WOMAN!!!  I do think it would be neat to see the relationship between Clarence Thomas and a woman who worked on Anita Hill's legal team though

I haven't read any of her 2nd circuit opinions, besides a few on transformative use.  Are there any that show a ideological interest, as coined by Obama, in "judging by empathy"?
