Why does technology hate me?
Oh yea...you're delicious and lean, but unsustainable and not to be consumed daily.

Pardon Johnny Cash.

Karma for intruding on CTL and Amp's love affair.

Assuming this is a PC:

Step 1: Run memtest for windows:  http://hcidesign.com/memtest/
If it fails, you probably have a hardware problem. If under warranty, contact the manufacturer.
If it passes, go to step 2

Step 2: Reformat and reinstall windows (back everything up first of course)

It just freezes for ten to twenty seconds randomly.

Honestly, it might just be time to invest in a new one.  :-\

No, follow my instructions above. If you don't want to, I would be glad to take your old computer, fix it, and sell it on ebay.  ;D

90% of people who replace their computers don't need to.

Sometimes people replace their computers because they need to.

Other times, people replace their computers because they want to buy something shiny.

with parental controls disabled it is not as bad but still does not run very smooth.
Symptoms include: Windows explorer stops responding and my screen goes blank with just my backround showing.
MY KIS 2009 all of a sudden turned red and said my data bases were corrupt and my computer started saying my computer was in danger and need to update program. I updated the KIS 2009 databases And all was fine again.
Internet Explorer crashes commonly, but not as much on user that has no parental controls.
I had a fake security alert 2 days ago and kaspersky did nothing so i just exited out of the fake alert and all started going fine until my computer started freezing and KIS 2009 kept crashing and was closed several times leaving my computer vulnerable.
System restore fails.
When i go to problems and solutions to try and fix things in System and Maintenance in Vista i try clicking on link to updates and a window comes up saying that the application does not exist with the link on of the message.
I think thats about it . And is the update really necessary for KIS 2009 because i dont want to lose my key as i have no idea where it is right now
