Anyone else have sudden-onset ADD when outlining?
« on: April 19, 2009, 12:39:30 PM »
I can't outline for more than 10 minutes at a time without my mind drifting off. In no other facets of my life do I have difficulty with concentration. Is it just me?

Are you kidding?  If you can last 10 minutes, you have the stamina of a stallion.  It's 70 and sunny outside, and I'm listening to Cheh on Con Law.  FML.

Ya this weekend has been rough.  I did crim law last week and I breezed through it really fast.  I'm doing Con Law now and every tiny little section I get done I start thinking about something else and wasting time :( lol

This is because outlining is really boring.

I'm on 40 mg of Adderal, 3 power bars, seccond pack of smokes and my fourth 16oz Monster of the day I can last maybe 6 mins

Yes.  Outlining requires a lot of intensive concentration on the law.  How long can you write:

Actus Reus:

Omission
Affirmative Act

. . .

We all get it...which is why we're on f-ing LSD instead of concentrating on outlining. I wish I could smoke in the house...would make the whole process so much easier.

Oh well, back to the fun!

Tell me you're doing that with a hangover and I'll really be impressed.
