Somewhere in that bad fat book is a good thin book trying to get out.

That's probably the best (and most accurate) review I've read of PLSII.

Well he's had it in for me ever since I kinda ran over his dog... Well, replace the word "kinda" with "repeatedly" and the word "dog" with "son."

I'm reading it now - I find it very interesting and I can't really say how it will apply until I start school in the fall. From what I've read - you need to take it with a grain of salt, but a lot of his techniques and tricks you do have to cull out of a lot of BS.

I read PLSII.  If I had it to do all over again, I would do some minor prepping (mostly Civ Pro) but I would not do the full PLSII method.  Waste of time and effort.

Law School Confidential and Getting to Maybe were both good.  I also think Mastering the Law School Exam was pretty good.  It was a very short, quick read and surprisingly helpful.
To put it bluntly, I seem to have a whole superstructure with no foundation. But I`m working on the foundation.

Why is it called PLS 2? Was there ever a PLS 1? IS PLS II the sequel? I'd rather read the original first, but it doesn't seem to exist.
LSC is the obvious choice, though I recently read one called Slacker's Guide to Law School, and I would say it's my favorite.
