If you live in a dorm in the state of Florida as an out of state student, you probably can't get residency the next year. HTH.

Thank you, I appreciate it. Yes, it's looking like that's going to be the case. I'll probably go talk to an attorney to see if there's some loophole I can work (not looking like it based on the applicable statute and case law), but I'll probably end up trying to beg for an out of state fee waiver for next year.

One thing's for sure, in the event I'm ever in a position to donate to the school, I damn sure won't if they screw me around now.
