That is absurd, if you only covered 700 pages that means 1 page of your out line covers only ~5 pages of the text. My outline is 50 pgs and I think it is way to big (condensed version is 10 pgs). Did you include cases briefs or something? Your outline should only be an organization of the rules of law, not the cases your covered. How in the world are you going to study from that monster. You should try to condense it in increments. Try to cut it in half and then in half again. That will put you at about 32 pages. from there you should be able to cut it to 10, and then get to the point where it is 1-3 but only lists the major elements. Not only will this get your outline on track, it will really help you study and master the material since you have to actively think about it and organize it when condensing.
