I want to first of all thank every one who commented on my previous post. All of you were very helpful. I know some one said that 30-40% should be sufficient to transfer to De Paul, but does any one know any more stats that are out there...does any one disagree with this number?

Also, in my personal statement should I talk about me wanting to transfer because I want to be closer to my family. Should I also talk about the fact that I want to practice in chicago because it offers more oppurtunities than the city I am in right now? Or are these topics to cheesy?

thanks agains

No, those are both great things to include.  Just make sure to make the focus of the statement on why you want to go to DePaul though and not just why you want to move back to Chicago.  I'm sure you will be able to write a relatively compelling personal statement.
