Pretty much just spam, yes. I've tried a few out of the way places with no luck and honestly, I'm really not getting my hopes up. Based on the number of people taking summer classes and the generally bad state of Florida's economy at the moment, I'll be surprised if anything works out.

Not sure about Bridgeman's Nascar, tragically I'm not in his section.

Widner seems alright, maybe insane, but alright.

Pretty much just spam, yes. I've tried a few out of the way places with no luck and honestly, I'm really not getting my hopes up. Based on the number of people taking summer classes and the generally bad state of Florida's economy at the moment, I'll be surprised if anything works out.

For non-OCI people, the chance of getting a job during 1L is not that much slimmer than 2L.  So, you need to work harder in getting that job for 1L summer. 

Based on what I have seen, for an average non-top 30 law school grad, getting a job after graduation is as hard as getting that 1L (paid) job at a firm.
